When discussing your project, I will ask you the following questions:

• How many A4 or A5 pages are there in the document? Do you know how many words?

• What is the subject of the document? Is it simple English or does it contain specialist jargon?

• Is this original work or have you already had help in writing this document? Has it been proofread previously?

• Do you require straightforward proofreading or is there some copy editing involved?

• How soon will you want the project completed?

• Do you require comments, track changes or both?

The information contained in your documents will remain confidential and will not be shared with any other person or organisation.

You should familiarise yourself with university guidelines on the extent to which professional editors can scrutinise and advise on your thesis.
